Is Sacramento Growing up?
Sacramento has been getting many new project bids lately. The new arena for the kings, new hotels, museums, and is currently building a new International Airport. Casinos are springing up left and right? Is Sacramento going towards maturing into a big city, or do you think it will continue to be the mid-sized city everyone overlooks while going to the bay, or to nevada? Will the north sac area be the new boom? Will the suburbs keep growing and growing? Will Sacramento be the next Reno? Sacramento is run down, but doesn’t a city need decay to be an urban city, plus there is a huge amount of redevelopment projects in town, not to mention the Rail Yards. Sacramento has the advantage of being at a great location. Close to Reno, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, Mexico, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Lake Tahoe, Snow, Ocean, Rivers, Lakes, Desert, Forest. You name it.
Unfortunately it is not growing up, it is growing out.

museum golden gate park

how much money should i bring with me on holiday to san francisco?
i am travelling in november on my own..how much should i bring (excluding flights/hotel since that will be paid for already)
things i want to do:
golden gate bridge
treasure island
lombard street
china town
fishermans wharf
the museum of modern art
the fillmore auditorium
golden gate park
bay bridge
ill need money for public transport, breakfast/lunch/dinner, etc. too
thanks
San Francisco is very expensive, i live in this city, to buy a public transportation i recommend you buy a fast pass its 45 dollars per month it includes bus, bart, etc. To buy inexpensive lunches i’d go to the mission for authentic taquerias and the Clement or Irving St. for Asian food(near the golden gate bridge/park. Much cheaper than buying food at national parks or museums. Bring at least 400-600 bucks, unless you want to buy food at fancy places or buy souveniers or something. Well hope that helps, happy trip!
