Do I have a chance of getting into UCLA, UC Irvine, UC Davis and UC San Diego?

College applications are approaching, and I’m thinking if I should even apply to colleges I don’t have a chance of getting into. I come from a high school that’s quite competitive, and it’s pretty hard to get into honors/ap classes. My sat score is relatively low. Do colleges specifically look at your weighted or unweighted gpa?

weighted: 3.85
unweighted: 3.65
sat I: 1720

3 community college courses

extra-curricular – golf, peer leader, homeroom officer, CSF (California scholarship federation) officer, student govt and 4 other clubs, after school tutor
Volunteer jobs: library, hospital & day cares

Had an internship over the summer

Thanks.

The UC system compars both your unqeighted and your weighted GPA’s, though they place the emphasis on your weighted GPA. You should take the SAT again, in hopes that you can improve by a hundred points or so. You have great EC’s, and you have demonstrated that you are a hard worker. A lot of volunteering, which you have, helps tremendously. You should be a shoe-in for Irvine, Davis, and San Diego, but UCLA is a stretch. If I were you, I would apply to all those schools, because you should get in to at least three of the schools in which you are applying to. I can guarantee you this much: you will be getting into any UC you apply to, with the exception of Berkeley and UCLA, even though you still have a chance.

I need to raise funds for a volunteer based project in Australia?

Any ideas to raise the money needed?
I am going to do over 120 hours of conservation work, I am also going to get to cross off many things off of my must do list. This trip will further my education and give me practical job experience. I’m an Outdoor Recreation major at UCO and planning to be a Park Ranger also to do conservation work on a regular, so this would be fantastic. I am most likely going to receive college credit for this endeavor. Please any ideas would be great? I am already working two jobs, going to school, doing odd jobs and have sent donations letter to family and friends, withlittle response. So any fresh ideas???

door knock tell people what your doing and will they donate.

Men…what would be your idea of a smashing good time? Women, feel free to help out?

Here’s the deal…in about a week and a half, my boyfriend and I will both be starting the 2007 Spring semester (at our respectful colleges might I add). We are both full-time students–he’s a chemistry major and I am a college grad working on my teaching certification–he has a full-time job, and I am a part-time volunteer at a local museum. There’s no doubt about it: we are two busy folks! With that said, and seeing that we only have one weekend left to kick back and have some fun, I was wondering if any of you could provide some suggestions on how I should plan out our last “free” weekend. I want him to have the best time in the world! Could anyone offer a little help?

Oh…and by the way…though all suggestions are greatly appreciated, there’s no need for sex tips! Believe me, I’ve got that particular area covered! Thanks! :-)

maybe you guys should make a dinner together, homemade.
one day, my boyfriend and I did that and we had a total blast. he couldn’t cook, so he made hilarious accidents (i.e. cracking an egg and putting in the entire shell). But, at the end, we managed to make edible pasta and it was pretty good. But i don’t know, look back at what you’ve guys have done before and maybe inclide a little bit of everything.
