When to reserve a Ghibli Museum ticket?

I’d like to visit the Studio Ghibli Museum in April and am wondering if it would be possible to go to a Lawson Station store and reserve a ticket on the same day I’m going to the museum or do you think there will be no tickets left by that time? (How many days ahead would you suggest I reserve my ticket?)

The Museum is highly popular but more so in the summer than now I imagine.

In the summer, I had to reserve a ticket about 15 days in advance but that was a bit lucky since some days around my chosen day were full.

I thought I knew a website which listed the current occupancy, but can’t find it now.
