What are my prospects for these colleges?
I don’t want to know what my “chances” are (unless you’re an admissions officer for these schools, you wouldn’t really know), I just want to know if it would be reasonable for me to apply to these schools or if I should set my sights a little lower.
* = predicted but might be different
Info:
2120 SAT (1st Time)
4.15 GPA*
300 Hours (Hospital/Library)
4yrs. of Orchestra (Not exceptional)
Internship at Law Firm during Summer of Junior Year
Going to take business courses from community college
I won’t apply to ALL these colleges, but it’s my list so far
College organized by preference:
UPenn
Stanford
U of Chicago
UC Berkeley
Williams College
Emory
Georgetown
UCLA
NYU
Safety:
UC Santa Barbara
If by minority you mean not white, then yes, I’m a minority. I’m filipino.
Unweighted is 4.0
my UC GPA (which oddly only counts 10th and 11th grade) is 4.21
For Penn, Williams and Stanford, unless you are a recruited athlete, minority or legacy, you need to raise you SAT score to closer to 2250 for a decent shot.
For Berkeley and UCLA, if that’s your UC GPA, you have a good chance.
You look like a reasonable candidate for the others.
