conservation internships abroad
I wanted to study abroad for this coming August. Do you know of any programs?

I wanted to do a month long internship/charity/volunteer work for August 09. I know it’s last minute, but I’ve been searching for a while now. I would love to do conservation, management, communications, art, economics, environmental studies, because those are within my fields of study.
Here’s the rub: it has to provide accommendations, flight ticket, meals and/or stipend.

rotary.org. rotary is the cheapest of them. it will provide everything. just go to their website and if u have any questions. just respond. age: 15 1/2-18 1/2 years old. btw, i have a question, what are you nta (non teenager activities)? cuz im applying for college soon and i need some lol…

What kinds of jobs should I look for?

I’m a recent graduate of the University of Texas in Austin. I got a Bachelor’s of Arts in sociology, and now I have no idea what kinds of jobs I should be looking for. I’m looking for steady work with a paycheck (no commission only jobs!) My only jobs so far have been a few months as a volunteer library assistant, one school year cleaning tables at a dining hall, and my current job as a cashier at Wal-Mart. But, I do have certification in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access (at least, office 95, I have no clue about office XP. Those tabs instead of menus confuse me o_O) I’ve tried looking for jobs, for everything from social research, to admin assistant, but no luck so far. At this point, I’m open to suggestions as to what kinds of jobs I’m qualified for, as I have no idea where to even start looking. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Get to the nearest port and apply to work on a ship. From deckhand to social worker. You can spend 3 months at sea and live a great life. No one ever thinks to apply there because no one wants to be gone from home for so long..
