Getting around in Chicago?
We are driving to Chicago and are planning on visiting the Museum of science and Industry, Shedd Aquarium, American Girl Place, and the Sears Tower. Our hotel is the Palmer House Hilton.
We plan on walking to the Sears tower and driving every where else. Since parking is so much I was curious about taxis and busses. From my research it would cost us $2 / person (there are 4 of us) to ride the bus. That works out to $16 round trip from our hotel. Since all of the places were going has parking for less than $19 I just planned on driving. Is there another cheaper alternative, or am I missing something?
If your kids are under 12 then they are free on the CTA. You can walk to the American Girl Place from the Palmer House Hilton too though.

hobby horse acres
sheep, cows and farm animals people with experience..!!!!?
ok so im moving to the country soon about a months time and we already have 2 horses. we;re planning to get another 2 so we’ll have four on five acres. now i wanted to get maybe some shheep or cows or goats or pigsjust a few so we”ll have a hobby farm… now my mum TOTALLY disagrees, yet my dad says yeah we should get a few sheep or something you know to fill up the land, and i really want to too. so my question is what are the positives and negatives about having sheep and cows and so on, how much looking after will they need. are they like a horse with needing the dentist, hooves done etc. or what?? how about worms.. do the farm animals usually carry worms?? do they need to be wormed? do they cause heaps of worms in the ground? any info like this.. please!!

Four horses on five acres is already filled up! Depending on what your pasture is like you need anywhere from 1/2 acre to 5 acres per animal. Your five acres will also have buildings on it so you don’t have a full five acres to devote to animals. If you want something else you could add chickens. But unless you plan on buying a whole lot of hay to feed all your animals all year round don’t add sheep or cows to four horses.
