need help with my future!! (horse wise)?
hey!
i love horses loads, and i currently look after my friends horse when i get the chance in the afternoons. and she gives me lessons in return.
i live in a town house, but i wish i could move to a farm.
i’ve been told not to go into a career with horses because there isn’t much money involved in it. and just to have horses as a hobby.
i want to own my own buisness when i get older.
i guess my question is, what should i do for my own buisness?
i like horses.
i was thinking of starting my own horse magazine.
any suggestions?
would you like it?
what do you think?
any other idea’s?
thanks! (:

i really dont want to be a vet.
i cant stand all the training and stuff you need to know, and to cut open one (if necessary) or to put them down. i’m just not into that.
but thanks for the suggestions anyway.

starting a horse magazine would be very costly and hard. How about being a editor or a journalist for a horse magazine? or a photographer for a horse magazine? You could learn to train horses? you could breed expensive horses? you could give lessons? you could own a barn and let people board there? you could become a farrier? you could train horses for movies and comercials?
there are alot of possibilities, but i’ve been told the same thing. Keep horses as a hobby and find a different job. but if you really want a job with horses, I bet you could find a good paying one with some work.
