library technician jobs

Confused about my college program?
I’m in college for the Library Technician program. This is basically a library employee. I know this is an easy job I could do but I always wonder if I’m making a mistake. The average salary for this job is $32,000 a year and I just don’t know if that is enough to live comfortably. Special libraries, like ones in law firms or hospitals, pay more but I also think what if I can’t get hired by one. I just want some advice or opinions or anything on this.
You could combine that degree with a teaching certificate, and become a high school librarian. Teacher’s salary can grow with tenure well beyond 32K in most states, and they’ll usually raise your salary if you get a Master’s degree. And you can retire with pension benefits. My mom was a high school librarian and enjoyed it.
Good luck!

I’m having a terrible time deciding on a major?
I’m 19, creative, imaginative, somewhat awkward, with a huge interest in English Literature, writing, and the French language. I would rather not have a strict schedule, but I’ll deal if it’s necessary. Currently, I am an English Education major. I wanted to teach secondary education, but now I’m unsure. I’d love to teach younger children, but I don’t know if there will be openings. I’ve also considered Library Science because my boss, a librarian, is a huge inspiration and seems to love her job. I just want something that will use my creative side, is fun, and well paying. I know it’s hard to have all of this, but does anyone have ideas? Thanks so much!
just get a degree in english then you can do anything you want if you think you might want to do library science then double major i mean no offense but both are easy majors so you can do both.

library jobs texas

I have exactly 35 days to find a job , How should I manage my time?
I recently moved away from my dysfunctional family in New York . I have been living with my uncle’s family in Texas for a while. Since I got a job recently I moved away from him because he also had the seeds of dysfunctionality sprinkled on him ( he’s my mom’s brother )
I didn’t want to be around that. So i had to move. But now I lost my job and I have barely enough money to go on for another month and 2 weeks.
I told my land lord that I have a job , But now that i am fired . I am scared to stay home ( in fear that he might find i lost my job and ask me to leave ) and search for a job . So I leave early from my room to go to the library and look for jobs.
But I lack so much discipline that I get distracted easily and find a 100 ways how I wont’ get a job. I am also in a relationship right now that that’s not helping me either.
What should I do to manage my life , at this time ? Please help
you can do two things for now.
One.. try to sell some staff from Ebay.
and second, keep looking for jobs.. I think you are waste time in yahoo.. go out and get your job. if u looking hard, you will get a job in one wk.. or less
good luck!!
