I sell Hot Wheels and McFarlane Figures on Ebay as a hobby, but they don’t always sell during dead times like after Christmas or when pay checks are spent. I was wondering if anyone knew of simple items to make or buy that do sell well, but don’t involve alot of overhead expenses. My ideas are quickly shot down and I am having a hard time coming up with new ones. I am not looking to get rich quick, just actually make money for the work I do. I am willing to work 10 hours a day at my job, and then come home just to box up Hot Wheels for a couple of hours and then go to the post office to mail them, if anything even sold. Days are long for me now, but I want an easier life for my wife and I later on. Help me out if you can! –Kris B.

I am recently laid off from my job and usually I have little problem entertaining myself, but this is really starting to get to me. My husband works until late afternoon and I’m home by myself all day and besides cleaning the house and doing laundry I can find NOTHING to do to pass the time. We live in the country and I don’t have TV or internet at my home, and I have tried to get involved in many hobbies , painting, wood burning, scrap booking , drawing, poetry, reading, but nothing interests me. Any suggestions on what I can do before I go outta my mind please?

I just started tinkering again and currently would like to build a high voltage “plasma speaker”. I’ve seen videos everywhere but not the theory or schematics. Please bare with this- I have two ignition coils and two flybacks, plenty of power supplies and the little components everyone has stored up. I need some direction, somewhere to start. p.s. the guy in me wants huge arcs to impress the wife so I’ve been thinking of a dual ignition coil Jacobs ladder but I believe she would let me off the hook for the price tag on a “speaker” with a 3-4 inch gap.
