piaget conservation task ?
what statistic could I use to analyze data collected from a Piaget-like conservation test? we had 2 groups and were comparing boys to girls. I was thinking of assigning values to the answers that we received and using a t-test to interpret the finding but im not sure if i can do that. any help would be appreciated. thank you
If your data is solely at the nominal level of measurement (i.e., gender; yes/no on conservation-capability), the appropriate statistic would be a chi-square.
