working model for conservation of natural resources?
To date, there is no working model for conservation of natural resources that take into account all phases of human life short of going back to living completely off the land. This is not a reasonable goal for much of society–way too many people in this world to make that viable.
However there is much experimentation of small segments of society such as using wind and solar power for producing energy.
