50-year-old Invisible Woman?
This is a weird place in life to be: a 50-year-old single woman who is not a celebrity and who does not look like a model. I was married in my twenties, divorced in my twenties, was an elementary school teacher, now a librarian/archivist. I love rollercoasters and have a professional membership in a national rollercoaster organization. I have a lot of hobbies and interests, but feel socially excluded from the world in general, and particularly excluded from the world of men my age (and even older)– because why?
Hey, I’m 52, a bit of a bookworm, and loved roller-coasters until one day, one I was riding on- broke! Scary. I’m also an artist of sorts, among other things
Love animals- horses, cats, and dogs, in that order
Yeah… it can be hard to meet people… if you don’t mix in where people your own age can be found. And there are so many dating clubs and services for people of all different age groups. You just have to search them out locally. It can be tough, if you don’t put the effort into it. Takes work. Dating at ANY age takes work. That never changes, sorry to say. Good luck
Me, I’m single, and looking

What is Socialism REALLY??
Tell me, What is the real difference between capitalism (American culture) and socialism (Europe/Canada) really?
We both pay an incredible amount of taxes; federal AND state.
Its the AMA. Our Medical Association, Our Health Care System and our Employment requirements/Vacation Time with our families pale in comparison to many other countries. The American populous is being stripped of their health, their money and piled up with stress….
Source(s)
What is so wrong with our bureaucrats’ who refuse to add help with health care/prescription medicine in addition to the national libraries, our police and fire departments across the country? Does this scare people, having more services available to the American public?
In socialism, the government steps in a sorta regulates some parts of the economy. They might control the mining industry or the oil industry or the national railway system.
Capitalism allows the market to regulate itself. The U.S. government sometimes steps in the market to fix stuff up, but its nothing compared to socialism.

Was the nomination of Jew Michael Mukasey a taunting message to White Christians (like the middle finger)?
Like: “…You White Christian idiots can’t do shi-t!!!..”
“…Mukasey’s son, Marc L. Mukasey, leads the white-collar criminal defense practice in the New York office of Bracewell & Giuliani.[14] The Mukaseys have a professional relationship with Rudy Giuliani; Mukasey and son are also justice advisers to Rudy Giuliani’s presidential campaign…”
“…In May 2004, while still a member of the judiciary, Judge Mukasey delivered a speech (which he converted into a Wall Street Journal opinion piece) that defended the Patriot Act; the piece also doubted that the FBI engaged in racial profiling of Arabs and criticized the American Library Association for condemning the Patriot Act but not taking a position on librarians imprisoned in Cuba…”
I think it was a taunt aimed at the entire GOP!
Maybe Bush wants to leave the message that he really is trying to work with Democrats. Up til now, he is has done Nada.
